All saved people are growing.

All saved people, Christians, are becoming more and more like Jesus. Some faster than others.

The Bible likens saved people to plants. Plants that stay the same and never change at all are fake.

Hebrews 5:11-13 KJV

[11] Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. [12] For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

[13] For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

Here is a harsh criticism of some Christians. They should have been much farther along than they were. Yet they were still “drinking milk.” This indicates they were growing somewhat.

Those who consider themselves Christians yet do not grow at all, year after year, but instead get worse, are not saved.

If you are not sure if you are growing or not, find a mature Christian, who knows you well, and ask them if they have seen growth in you in the several areas of the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Ask them to be specific and give examples.
