Acts 9:31 KJV

[31] Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

Walking in the fear of the Lord. That is, fearing the Lord as your everday lifestyle, rather than occasionally, comes with God's comfort.

Matthew 5:4 KJV

[4] Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

James 4:8B-9 KJV

[8] Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

[9] Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.

Those who mourn over their sins will make every effort to avoid sinning. Therefore, they will avoid the dangers brought on by disobeying God. It will be comforting to them to know they are not in danger from God, due to rebellious disobedience.
