How does God benefit you?

Those who worship money know its value. They know its value to them personally. They experience its benefits daily. They can tell you precisely the various ways money makes their lives better.

For example, it is easier, faster, more comfortable to travel in a car than on foot. They buy cars with money.

Those who worship God must have similar knowledge of God‘s specific benefits to them. How is your daily life enhanced by God? Consider and meditate on this. Write down the specifics, if necessary. But be fully aware of the many ways your life is better, because you are one of God‘s children.

Some object to seeking your own benefit in your relationship with God. However, Jesus died to benefit you. If you do not benefit, he paid that awful price in vain. Also, the Bible is full of verses about the specific blessings people are to desire and get from God.

Hebrews 11:6B KJV

[6] he that cometh to God must believe that he…is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

However, true blessings from God are really different than what worldly people consider to be blessings.
