How to cause saving faith.

The way to saving faith is telling people the Bible. Of course, most people will not hear this. But if someone is to get saved, they must be convinced by the Bible.

Romans 10:17 KJV

[17] So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

In Jesus' account of Lazarus and the rich man, He revealed that even one returning from the dead to testify of the place of torment would not persuade people. That by having the Bible, they had all they needed to get saving faith. If God’s Word did not convince them, nothing would.

Luke 16:27-31 KJV

[27] Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

[28] For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

[29] Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

[30] And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

[31] And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
