Living in sin.

What comes to mind?

Usually only sexual sins.

Yet, those who are way past sexual sins can and do live in sin. You can see it all the time.

There are hundreds of commands in the New Testament. Consistently living in disobedience to even just one of these commands is living in sin.

Just a few of these commands.

1. Doing what you say you will do.

2. Not backbiting (Do you even know what this means? Much talk about political celebrities is backbiting.)

3. Wives submitting to husbands.

4. Christians submitting to each other.

5. Being content with what you have.

6. Not being anxious.

Though I do not recommend much of his teachings, Michael Pearl gave a series of sermons called “50 Sins.”
