Be extremely careful about false teachers.

Because of the many warnings in the Bible about false Christians and false leaders, and how subtly they slip in and disguise themselves, we must all be slow to conclude anyone is genuine.

Jude 1:3B-4 KJV

[3] it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

[4] For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

The worst false teachers say things that are mostly true. That is why they are so believable, and lead many astray.

A glass of pure water with a tablespoon of filth added is filthy water.

I have heard many sermons over my many years. Almost all of them are like this filthy water.

One example.

It is often taught that Jesus was angry when He drove the sellers and changers of money out of the temple.

What does the Bible say?

John 2:17 KJV

[17] And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

Jesus was motivated by zeal, not anger. They are not the same. They are not even similar.
