Worship God only in God-approved ways.

Worship starts with believing that God is the supreme treasure. Then that belief is expressed. The two together is worship.

The Bible is clear. In both the Old and New Testaments, God commanded people to worship Him in only the ways He has approved. It is common today in “churches” for people to worship God in ways they invent, following their dreams and passions. The Bible records extreme consequences for worshiping God in ways He did not approve. In Scripture, God revealed many ways to worship him that He has approved. So there is no need to fabricate new ways.

Worshipping God in ways that He has not approved causes observers to believe that God is different than He really is.
