repent
I have read in the sermons of certain teachers that “Repentance is only a change of mind.” That may be true; but what a change of mind it is! …repentance is a thorough and radical change of mind,

Words’ meanings.
“Actually, semantics is not an excuse, nor is it incidental; it is the whole point. Semantics involves the study of meanings of words; so if one uses words which do not convey the meaning he or she is attempting to express, then a different meaning comes across.” SO GREAT SALVATION: WHAT IT MEANS TO BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST by Charles C. Ryrie Knowing the meanings of words, specifically God‘s meanings of the words He used to write the Bible, is basic and essential to understan

Men typically make better decisions. 2 Corinthians 11:3 [3] But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 1 Timothy 2:11-14 KJV [11] Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. [12] But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. [13] For Adam was first formed, th

Saved from what?
Matthew 1:21 KJV [21] And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins . Jesus saves people from God‘s wrath. But that is not all. He also saves them from their sins. He does not just save them from God‘s wrath, so they may keep on sinning without any danger or fear. He also saves them from their sins. If you are saved from a fire, you are taken away from the fire. Likewise, if you are saved from your sins, you
